Sunday 10\/26 at 9:30 a.m. <br><strong>Round 3:<\/strong> Sunday 10\/26 at 3:00 p.m. <br><strong>Round 4:<\/strong> Monday 10\/27 at 9:30 a.m. <br><strong>Round 5:<\/strong> Monday 10\/27 at 3:00 p.m. <br><strong>Round 6:<\/strong> Tuesday 10\/28 at 2:30 p.m. <br><strong>Round 7:<\/strong> Wednesday 10\/29 at 9:30 a.m. <strong> <\/strong><br><strong>Round 8:<\/strong> Wednesday 10\/29 at 3:00 p.m. <br><strong>Round 9:<\/strong> Thursday 10\/30 at 9:30 a.m. <br><strong><em>Prize giving:<\/em><\/strong> Thursday 10\/30 at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 1: Organization, Registration<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tournament organized by Calais Passion Echecs and the city of Calais <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approved by FIDE and FFE <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration closes on October 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration fees: \u20ac50 for adults, \u20ac25 for juniors, additional fee after October 19 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration implies acceptance of the rules and the chess player charter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 2: Right to Image<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Photos and videos may be taken during the tournament <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration implies acceptance to appear in photos and videos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 3: Tournament Procedure<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>9 rounds, open to any player affiliated with a FIDE member federation <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule of rounds and award ceremony detailed <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time control: 1 hour 30 minutes (+ 30 seconds\/move) for the entire game Recording of moves is mandatory <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draw by mutual agreement possible from the 20th move or with the referee&rsquo;s agreement Forfeit after 30 minutes of delay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 4: The Bye<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One \u00ab\u00a0BYE\u00a0\u00bb allowed per player, worth 0.5 point, limited to rounds 1 to 6 Must be requested before the end of the previous round<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 5: Pairing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swiss system  accelerated  assisted by the Papi 3.3.8 program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 6: Ranking and Prizes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ranking based on game points Tiebreakers: Truncated Buchholz, Buchholz, Performance <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The expected prizes are as follows: 1st: \u20ac500* \u2013 2nd: \u20ac400* \u2013 3rd: \u20ac300* Prize by category \u2013 prize by bracket Elo \u2013 female prize* <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The final prize list will be posted before the start of Round 3. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prizes guaranteed if at least 60 participants, adjustable according to the number of registrants <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-cumulative prizes, awarded to winners present at the closing ceremony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 7: Refereeing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chief referee: Philippe Blot, International Arbiter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 8: Player Conduct<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyses and blitz are prohibited in the tournament hall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Discussions are limited to avoid disturbances <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prohibition of electronic devices not authorized by the referee <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sanctions for acts contrary to the ethics of the game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden in the Town Hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTICLE 9: Disputes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Appeals jury composed of five members, sovereign decisions Competent referee to resolve disputes <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possibility to appeal to the appeals jury in case of
